Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Media or equivalent experience in Agency, Media Production house, Cinematography or a related field.
Proven experience as a Fashion Cinematographer for Instagram reels, Director of Photography or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency with camera equipment, lighting techniques and understanding of colour grading.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to adapt styles and techniques to fit different projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with Reels and digital media production requirements, such as aspect ratios, resolution and best practices for online video content.
A proactive mindset with a strong passion for creating innovative and visually appealing content.
Responsibilities
Visual Direction: Oversee the visual style of video production, ensuring alignment with the brand vision.
Camera Setup & Operation: Set up and operate cameras for both studio and field shoots, including multi-camera configurations when needed.
Lighting Design: Design and implement lighting that enhances the mood and atmosphere, while ensuring visual clarity and appeal.
Shot Composition: Frame shots that support storytelling, ensuring they are dynamic and visually engaging.
Collaboration: Work closely with the script writer, editor and social media manager to execute the visual aspects of each video.
Video Quality Control: Ensure all footage meets technical and creative standards, including resolution, colour grading, focus and exposure.
Post-production Collaboration: Work with editors to ensure the final product aligns with the intended visual style and meets the brands quality standards.
Creative Input: Contribute ideas for new visual styles, techniques and innovations to elevate the Brand’s content.
